I was watching "The Red Pill" (really worth the time, btw) and it made me think... why? Where were we, where are we and where are we heading?
Less than a hundred years ago, the man worked and the woman took care of the house and family. So... one salary was enough to keep a family. And the kids were educated by their families. And the households were strong and independent.
Then someone said... hey!, let's get women to work! They are doing a great job taking care of everything, let's get them to work for us! Hence the feminist movement. Also, the kids got out of the family sphere and into "public education" more and more.
Now? Everybody has to have a job just to keep the family house. And the sexes are fighting each other (actually, it's quite one sided, but still), which is a classic "divide et impera" case. And the children are more and more educated and indoctrinated by the government, quite like in the communist countries (even more, maybe), with the parents being too busy or tired to fulfill their role.
Doing the math, in some seventy years, people have lost the financial well-being (the value of their work), the independence, and the freedom to raise the next generation by family- and people-oriented values. Orwell, here we come!
